Mary O. Lovato, date of birth: May 9th, 1932. Date of death: October 8th, 2019 (age 87).

She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.

Mary Lovato, 87 of Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 8th, 2019. She was born on May 9th, 1932 in Capulin, New Mexico to Toribio & Celia Trujillo. She married Louie Lovato in 1954 in Yakima and that is where they raised their family together for the next 53 years.

Mary enjoyed crocheting and sent blankets and more to family and friends. She loved watching old movies, soap operas & dancing/ice skating shows. Mary and her husband loved music and were quite the dancers in their time and enjoyed going out dancing with family and friends. Mary was a woman of faith and lived her life serving others. Her heart was big and she loved reaching out to others, even if it was just to tell a story to make them laugh with her great sense of humor and infectious laugh. She was a wonderful homemaker and she always had food and treats ready for anyone that stopped by. She always sent her guests home with food whether they wanted it or not. Her family and friends were very important to her and she was always available to chat on the phone; after 11 AM however as she loved to sleep in. Mary was the sort of person who never met a stranger, soon they would be her friend. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children & their spouses, Anthony (Lauralyn) Lovato of British Columbia, Steve (Jaime) Lovato of Valley, WA, and Angie (Steve) Brown of Tieton; one sister, Della Jaramillo and one brother, Ralph Archuleta; and her grandchildren, Stevi Ann, Jaylee and Jace Lovato; Chad and Brooke Brown.

Per her request there will be no formal services. A private family service will be held at a later date in her honor.
