John Brunk passed away October 5th, 2019 in Yakima, WA. He was 87 years old. John was born in Cleveland, Ohio where he grew up. He attended the University of Illinois and the University of Washington, graduating with a degree in Engineering. In between school he spent a few years in the Army. John retired from Boeing after 33 years. John loved to travel, reading news programs, Sudoku puzzles and watching old Westerns on TV. He is survived by his wife Judith Brunk, 1 son, Douglas Brunk, a daughter, Margaret, and 3 step daughters, Elisa Villegas, Elaina (Ted) Serres, and Juliana Hoys, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He had a life well lived and will be greatly missed. Service is private per family.
