Barbara Belle Dellinger

Barbara Dellinger

To everything there is a season…

A time to be born…

Barbara Belle Stickney was born April 24, 1932 in Cadillac, Michigan to Dorr and Arlyn Stickney.

 A time to love…

In Dec. 1952 Barbara fell in love with A/2C Wesley Dellinger while working Civil Service at Selfridge AFB. On June 20, 1953 they were married. Their marriage was blessed with three sons, David, Steve and Michael.

A time to laugh…

Hiking, fishing, camping, rafting the Yakima River and going to the beach was part of summer. Fall and winter were filled with football games, hunting and snowmobiling. Many happy hours were spent at the cabin on Chinook Pass, a place filled with love and laughter.

A time to die…

Barbara died in her sleep on December 13, 2018.

“I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.”

She is survived by husband Wesley; children David (Sue), Steve (Judy), and Michael (Wandee); siblings Betty Jane, Dorothy Ann, and Don; five sisters- and brothers-in-law; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
