On Nov. 10, 2018, the angels came to take our beloved John to heaven to forever watch over his family and friends. He was born Feb. 20, 1962 in Chehalis, WA. He worked for Cummins Corporation in Yakima. To know John was to love him.
He is survived by his wife Leslie, sons Josh (Jessica) Buning, Casey (Christina) Buning, step daughter Lindsey (Ricardo) Lopez Horwitz, grandchildren Madyson, Zander, Zeva, Renzo, Vita, and Gianna, parents Dutch and Betty Buning, sisters Penny (Gary) Lease, and Jenny (Mike) Marquis, sisters-in-law Cynthia (Steve) Russell, and Heide (Matt) Srmonet), brother-in-law Eric (Julee) Jensen, mother-in-law Cathy Jensen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial for John at Rainier Memorial Center, 2807 Terrace Heights Dr., on Saturday, Nov. 24th at 11:00 AM.
