Stanley Andrew Sorenson, Selah, Washington passed away on January 2, 2024. Stanley was born on November 27, 1937 to Orville and Golda (Snider) Sorenson.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sorenson, daughter Terri (Kurt) Barnett, son Tim (Lauri) Sorenson, sister Barbara (Bill) Hartinger and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Stanley was born in Tieton and graduated from Highland High School in 1956. He married Wanda Atwood in 1959 moving to Selah in 1961. Stanley enjoyed many occupations as a meat cutter, rancher, mini-storage manager until his retirement.
Stanley loved the mountains, camping, fishing, and hunting. His greatest love was his family. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
There will be a viewing on January 10 At the Rainier Memorial Center in Terrace Heights from 3 – 7 pm and a memorial service on January 11 at Rainier Memorial Center at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Union Gospel Mission or charity of your choice.
